How Best Link in Bio is assessed

The exact criteria behind every entry on this site, so you can disagree with the weighting rather than wonder what it was.

Meaning of "best" and "top"

These words describe the editorial recommendation for the stated use case, decided by the criteria below. They are not a claim of a universal, independently measured league table, and no tool was lab-tested for this site.

What we measure

For every tool we record the same fields from its public pricing page, in this priority for the bio-page question:

  1. Links on the free page: unlimited, a fixed number, or "a few".
  2. Branding on the free page: whether the tool's logo or label appears, and the first plan that removes it.
  3. Custom domain: whether you can serve the page from your own domain, and the cheapest plan that allows it.
  4. Analytics: what is shown free (totals or per link) and how long it is kept.
  5. Selling fees: the percentage taken per sale on each plan, excluding payment-processor fees.
  6. Entry price: the cheapest paid plan, monthly and annually where both are published.
  7. Extras: email capture, pixels, scheduling, QR codes, short links.

How the recommendation is chosen

The homepage ranking is for a general creator and weights free completeness, branding cost and custom-domain cost most heavily, which is why Beacons leads it and Linktree is second. ReSlug is the network's editorial choice and is ranked third here, because its strength is combining a bio page with short links and QR codes rather than being the best page builder. On the selling entry Stan leads because fees dominate that question. Each entry states its own weighting at the top.

What we deliberately ignore

Update cadence

Pricing pages are re-checked at least monthly and whenever a vendor announces a plan change. The current dataset was reviewed on 8 November 2026 and covers 11 tools.
